About JD Harvill
JD Harvill is 50 years young... a Photographer and Artist... a Voyeur and Flirt... and a Writer and Actor...
JD had the great fortune of living in 13 states before he was 13, having visited most of the State Parks in the US, having graduated from Penn State in the late 80's, and then living in Germany for two years before settling in Atlanta, Georgia.
JD suffered a minor stroke in March 2010, spent two months in the hospital, and as of January 2013 he is still working to slowly rebuild the use of his right arm/hand. He was right-handed, but now all drawings and photographs are done with his brilliant left hand!
As an artist and photographer JD is primarily interested in human faces and forms. He is always interested in working with new models looking to expand their portfolios, and friends willing to model for his art projects.
As a writer, JD Harvill would like to be known as the next Christopher Isherwood, but its more likely that someone will say he was more influenced by Gordon Merrick and Anne Rice.
Though JD has always supported himself with 9 to 5 corporate jobs, he has always spent time torn between his primary hobbies: writing, drawing, painting, music, & photography!
